- - - - - - - PRESIDENTIAL VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the Reedley High Leo Club, it is hereby ordered as follows: Section 1. Purpose. This order is intended to award and honor members that give many hours per year helping others. (a) The Presidential Volunteer Service Award shall be bestowed upon a member designated by the President. Sec. 3. General Provisions. (i) The award is granted to individuals, in the Reedley High Leo Club. Depending on the amount of service hours completed, individuals can receive the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and/or the President's Call to Service Award. (ii) The Call to Service Award is the most prestigious, and awarded for extreme service to the community.
(vi) The President may bestow these awards to any current or past member at any time during his/her term. This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations. This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the Reedley High Leo Club, its departments, its officers, members, or any other person. This order once effective cannot be repealed unless replaced by a new executive order outlining the requirements of the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. KEIREN H. EXECUTIVE ORDER
- - - - - - - OFFICIAL PROCEDURES ON A GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS. By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the Reedley High Leo Club, it is hereby ordered as follows: Section 1. Purpose. This order is intended to serve as the Official Rules and Procedures on the process of electing candidates to the Board of Directors. Sec. 2. Proposed Plan to Improve the process of electing officials to the Board of Directors. (a) The President or person acting as president, shall call for a general election in the month of February. All candidates must register to run by the last day of January. Sec. 3. General Provisions. (i) the candidates for President and Vice President must be current or former officers of the club. -(If only ONE person is eligible to become president or vice president, they shall become president and nominate two members to serve as the Vice President and Deputy Vice President with Board approval.) -(If only TWO people are eligible to hold the office of president or vice president, then the two officers may choose which spot they want, and if they are not running against each other, will automatically win.) -(If only THREE people are eligible to hold the office of president or vice president, then the three officers may choose which spot they want, and if they are not running against each other, will automatically win.) (ii) the candidate for president with the most votes shall become president. (iii) the top two candidate(s) for Vice President shall serve as the Vice President and Deputy Vice President respectfully, (iv) the candidates for Recording Secretary, Treasurer, and Directors shall be open to ALL members. (v) the candidate(s) with the most votes for the said office shall win. This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations. This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the Reedley High Leo Club, its departments, its officers, members, or any other person. - - - - - - - REORGANIZATION OF THE CABINET. By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the Reedley High Leo Club, it is hereby ordered as follows: Section 1. Purpose. This order is intended to establish the Cabinet of the Reedley High Leo Club. Sec. 2. Proposed Plan to create the Cabinet as stated in the Constitution. (a) The President, the Vice President, and the several officers stated below shall attend all Cabinet meetings. Sec. 3. General Provisions. (i) The Cabinet shall consist of the Secretary of Public Relations, Treasury, the Attorney General, the Secretary of Community Service, Interior, Leo Affairs and the Ambassador to ASB/Student Council. (ii) the Leo Club Chief of Staff and the Leo Club Press Secretary shall also attend the Cabinet meetings, but not be official cabinet members. (iii) the role of the Cabinet is the assist and advise the president on all matters concerning their responsibilities as stated below.
(vi) The President shall appoint all the Cabinet members above with approval from the Board of Directors. (v) The President shall also designate a Leo Club Chief of Staff who serves as the main advisor to the president, and a Leo Club Press Secretary who shall act as the official spokesperson for the Leo Club and is tasked with the upkeep of all Social Media and the website. This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations. This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the Reedley High Leo Club, its departments, its officers, members, or any other person.
